Softshell is an intelligent fabric originally developed for sportswear. It consists of multiple layers bonded together with heat. Inside, there is a soft and warm thermal layer; in the middle, a membrane prevents moisture from entering while allowing vapor to escape. The outer layer is a densely woven polyester that repels water droplets. This membrane ensures the coat is waterproof and breathable, so you stay dry without overheating.
